Human Resources

The Human Resources (HR) Department serves the County's Board of Supervisors by performing human resource functions for over 300 employees. Whether we are hiring a new employee, or an employee is retiring, the County's Human Resources Department is involved. We administer employee onboarding functions, payroll processing, along with the employee benefits programs adopted by the Board of Supervisors.

Responsibilities & Duties

Human Resources is responsible for administering Pearl River County's comprehensive human resources program. These services include but are not limited to:

  • Pre-Employment and orientation services
  • Payroll administration and processing
  • Employee time management software administration
  • Employee benefits program administration
  • Retirement processing
  • Maintenance of employee personnel records
  • Personnel policy administration
