PROCEDURES FOR FILING CIVIL SUITS
  
     
  THE STATUTORY LIMIT FOR FILING A CIVIL SUIT IN JUSTICE COURT IS $2,500.00. ANY DEBTS, PROPERTY DAMAGE, ETC. WHICH AMOUNT TO MORE THAN $2,500.00 MUST BE HANDLED THROUGH OTHER COURTS.  
     

OPEN ACCOUNTS:
     
1.
Provide to the Court a copy of the outstanding bill along with a current and accurate PHYSICAL address.
  
2.
Fill out the paperwork.
  
3.
 Cost for this action is $64.00 for one defendant, $74.00 for two defendants, same address,$94.00 for two defendants at different addresses.  
     

COMPLAINT FOR DAMAGES:
     
1.
 Provide to the Court a copy of the outstanding bill along with a current and accurate PHYSICAL address.  
2.
 Fill out the paperwork.  
3.
 Cost for this action is $64.00 for one defendant, $74.00 for two defendants, same address,$94.00 for two defendants at different addresses.  
     

REMOVE TENANT:
.
    
1.
 Provide the Court with a copy of the proper notice given to the Tenant/Teants, along with a current and accurate PHYSICAL address.  
2.
 Fill out the paperwork.  
3.
 Cost for this action is $64.00 for one defendant, $74.00 for two defendants, same address,$94.00 for two defendants at different addresses.  
     

REPLEVIN:
1.
 Provide the Court with a copy of the proof of ownership, along with current and accurate PHYSICAL address.  
2.
 Fill out the paperwork. (If you want immediate possess you SHALL post a CASH BOND which is double the value of the property. If defendant post a cash bond, they will retain the property until Court date.)  
3.
 Cost for this action is $64.00 for one defendant, $74.00 for two defendants, same address,$94.00 for two defendants at different addresses.
