Pearl
River County is served by twelve Volunteer Fire Districts. Click
on the thumbnail to locate your district. Also, check your tax statement
to see if your taxes for the fire districts are credited to the
proper district. For instance, if your house is in the Henlyfield
area and the word Nicholson appears on the bottom line of your tax
statement, the taxes paid by you are credited to the incorrect fire
district. Contact your tax office to correct this oversight.

Road
Crews work hand in hand with the Volunteer Firemen of Pearl
River County. By providing Equipment and Labor, whether
to provide sand for sand-bags or assisting with ramp or
parking lot paving, services and protection have been enhanced
by a cooperative effort.

For
further information on joining or offering services to any of our
Volunteer Fire Departments, please contact Bobby Strahan, our Pearl
River County Fire Marshall and Arson Investigator, at 601-795-3022
to determine what district you live in, and a contact for additional
information. The more youth that becomes involved with the Fire
Departments, the better they will be equipped and staffed to provide
services in the future. |
